Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to help you to make the changes you desire. The state of hypnosis allows you to be very focused on your thoughts, and this can help you to understand yourself better.
At the root of all behavior, habits and attitudes are beliefs that we have about ourselves, the world and other people. When we are able to understand those beliefs, we can change them, and that can change the behavior, habits and attitudes they are supporting.
Hypnotherapy can be used in two ways. Analysis helps us to explore the deep rooted beliefs we have, perhaps recalling past events which set up and confirmed them. Suggestion can be used to change habits and beliefs and will sometimes be used with analysis though can be used on its own.
