My interest in people led me first to train as a Counsellor. I later completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology with the Open University, graduating with Upper Second Class Honours. As my theoretical studies progressed, I developed an interest in hypnotherapy and began my training with the BSY group.
I continued my studies with the Essex Institute in Southend, where I gained Diplomas in Hypnoanalysis and Clinical Hypnosis with Psychotherapy, and a Diploma in Psychotherapy. I have also completed an NLP Practitioner’s course and have studied Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with Stonebridge Colleges. I have a Diploma in Specialisation for Psychosexual disorders.
With my extensive training in practical methods and the theoretical backing of my BSc studies, I feel well equipped to manage the problems presented to me by my clients. I enjoy working with people, helping them to achieve solutions to their problems and supporting them as they find their route to the kind of life they wish to live.
Kathy May Clements
BA (Hons.)
Kathy May graduated from London Metropolitan University with A Bachelor of Arts with Honours. The modules studied as part of the degree course and her additional training equipped her with a sound knowledge of psychology and sociology, people as individuals and people as part of a group, and the ability to plan and deliver workshops which are both informative and entertaining.
The knowledge Kathy May gained through her training and work experience is used in a practical way, creatively combining the theories with workshop based exercises to help people to understand themselves better and equip them to plan and move towards their goals and increase their skills both personally and within a business environment.
Kathy May’s enthusiasm for her work is both evident and contagious, providing a memorable and enjoyable learning experience for all who attend her workshops.
