About Susan Clements DHP MAPHP

I have always had an interest in sociology and psychology, the studies of people in societies and as individuals. This interest led me to train as a counsellor in 2000, in an attempt to understand people better. I liked the way counselling allows the person to find their own solutions.

In 2003 I began studying for a BSc in Psychology with the Open University.
As my theoretical studies progressed, I developed an interest in hypnotherapy and started my training with the BSY group and later registered at the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy in Southend to further my training.

I completed the Professional Practitioners Course, Which gave me diplomas in Hypnoanalysis and Clinical Hypnosis with Psychotherapy, followed by the advanced course, which gave me further training in techniques for the therapy room.

I also completed an NLP Practitioner’s course.

With my extensive training in practical methods and the theoretical backing of my BSc studies, I feel equipped to manage the problems presented to me in the consulting room, and I enjoy working with people, helping them to achieve solutions to their problems and supporting them as they find their route to the kind of life they wish to live.
